A few positions and priority items:
- Firm advocate for the development of comprehenive vehicular speeding programs, including having the city acquire traffic calming devices;
- Firmly supported building a new police department but strongly oppossed the building of a joint new city hall/police department;
- Oppossed entering the bond market for $15.5M in debt for the new city hall building without first obtaining voter approval through a referenedum;
- Proponent of amending the city's current Emergency Operations Plan to include more local detail;
- Help develop a city wide Senior Survey so future policy decisions can be made based on information from the many seniors in our community;
- Strong advocate for citizens to curtail BG&E tree trimming and installments of poles in front yards by working directly with the Public Service Commissions;
- Redesign of Whitemarsh Park - I beleive in and will work hard for a well developed city budget that will help ensure that we can meet the recreational needs of our children and families.
